Comme souvent à Paris, notamment dans les localisations touristiques, rapport qualité prix très moyen (assiette de qualité mais prix surévalués), et service peu agréable (si vous n'aimez pas le contact client, changez de métier).
Ce qui sauve ce restau, finalement c'est la qualité de ce qu'on a dans l'assiette, sa localisation à deux pas du Palais Royal, et sa terrasse super agréable.
On reviendra volontiers.
I came here two weeks ago with my husband and we had a lovely meal with a very kind server. Last night, the woman who served us --long dark hair, full lips, green and black shirt, very wrinkled pants--was the RUDEST Parisian I'd encounter in the month I've been here. She clearly hated Americans. After waiting for an eternity for even a drink order (and yes, I know how the French work, and I like to take my time at dinner too, but this was something else). Then she brought my friend her drink (I ordered bottled water) and put it down hard and rudely on the table and then brings the bottle of water she is holding to the table next to us. My friend said, "I guess she doesn't want to give you your water." Another 10 mins go by and still no water OR menus. Finally, because I'm genuinely parched, I get up and ask someone else for the water. She finally returns and slams it down like a 5 year old boy... hard and rude-- kind of the same way she threw the drink menus on the table when we arrived. Actually when we arrived, we just sat there for like 15 mins. THEN she threw the menus on the table. I could go on...because there is more, but all I can say, is FIRE that woman. She is making your place look bad! There are certain people who are not suited to be in the service industry and she is definitely one of them.
j'ai pris du temps a choisir le lieu ou nous pourrions nous retrouver entre collegues (14) pour un afterwork, puisque les commentaires sur les bars et cafés autour du louvres laissaient a desirer. je suis tombé sur le bistrot Valois, qui a premiere vu m'inspirait bien. je ne me suis en effet pas trompée. le systeme de reservations est impec et le restaurant nous recontacte pour verifier la resa. nous avons été tres bien accueilli et aux petits soins, l'equipe faisait en sorte que nous ne manquions de rien. tout a ete servi rapidement et etait bon! vrai petit plus, le lieu est cosy et charmant, niché dans une ruelle perdenpiculaire a Rivoli et beneficie de plus de calme t et d'intimité. nous reviendrons avec plaisir , c'etait une belle surprise !
